BlueJay
the pretty and noisy BlueJay is back.. nice to see!

Anhinga
Now around most ponds-
posed drying feathers after a swim

Great Crested Flycatcher
Seen in the dense tree cover... hard to spot!

Snowy Egret
seen wading at many of our ponds
They have yellow feet!

Green Heron
common small Heron in Ballantrae...
Not too many so far this year...


April was nice for birding...
Our summer "old standbys" are returning and lots of migrating birds arriving.
Get your cameras and binoculars out and
see our beautiful birds. Send us some of your photos, or call in your sightings.
