December was a lovely Ballantrae birding month. Many interesting bird species and photo poses. |

 White Ibis So unusual to find 2 juvenile Ibis sitting on a power wire. What a nice photo opportunity |

 Belted Kingfisher Nicely posed on a wire. More often seen there. Very elusive and harder to photo. |

 Mockingbird One of the most common birds in Ballantrae. Listen to one ... beautiful sounds of many birds. |

 Osprey Hard to resist another Osprey photo when they are this interesting. Nice fish catch! |

 Turkey Vulture Our Ballantrae street cleaners. There is very little road kill to see when these big and ravenous birds are done! |
