November was a short month for birding Ballantrae. We were off to Egypt to photograph birds and more (photos coming soon) |

 Egyptian Goose We have been invaded .. these geese are everywhere now. In ponds, golf course and even in some Osprey nests. |

 Red-shouldered Hawk Nicely posed in a Ballantrae tree(in our preserve), looking for a meal. |
|||||||||||||||||||||
 Eastern Phoebe Small bird seen at this time of year in Ballantrae. They flit from branch to branch... watch for them! |
|||||||||||||||||||||
 Spotted Sandpiper A shoreline traveller, searching for food. They eat insects, crustaceans and other small prey. |
